things have been nuts at work lately, we’ve been busier than ever, probably because, as the obnoxiously huge sign in the store says, “there’s only 18 shopping days till christmas”! hurr.
anyway, so when i finally do get a day off, im too exhausted to do literally anything but sleep. apart from that there’ve been parties, family shit, shopping, personal projects, and health problems going on as well.
ive got the next two days in a row off, so i’ll try to have something new posted by sunday evening, but there’s yet another holiday function tomorrow night, on top of more family shit, so we’ll have to wait and see if i’ll even remotely have the time.
anyway, excuses excuses, i know. but i am trying. and i appreciate your patience.
I figured out why the last few pages have turned out so dark in the photos; someone (probably me, I forget when) turned the brightness settings way down on the camera. Heh, my bad. I think i’ll re upload the last few pages tonight, if you’d like.
(here’s a little peek at what’s to come tomorrow! sorry i haven’t posted the real page like i promised, my back had a spasm that left me in tears for a few minutes, so i thought i should put it away for the night. anyway, if anyone was curious (which i doubt, but oh well) thats all the stuff i use to do the strips and pages for you guys. it’s not much, yeah, but it’s all i need.)
tonight’s post is the first page of a twenty plus page story i’ve been planning for a long time. as ive said before, this is definitely going to be different from the smaller, one-off posts we’re all used to. if it’s not to your liking, then well, you dont have to read it. im going to focus on this story line almost exclusively right now, but the one-offs and ask responses wont be too far away.
I’m working on a new story thread that will answer about three asks at once. i’ve got the first four sketches roughly (and i mean roughly!) sketched out, and i should have them finished and posted by tomorrow or the day after. bit of a heads up, this is definitely going to be different from what you guys are used to. but hopefully in a good way.
(A/N: first off, i’ve gained two more followers somehow, so welcome to the blog! i’m never complaining about the ask box ever again. i say it’s too full, then i get nothing at all for a week. i say it’s too empty, i get 8+ asks at once, which is what happened today, incidentally. so look forward to new content! one more thing, i have created an etsy store (which is empty at the moment) that will soon carry all sorts of Slender Head merch, among other things. i’ll post a link to the store once it is fully set up.)

ok, since it’s been about 24 hours and i havent heard any opinions from anybody, here’s what i’ll do: I’m going to focus primarily on one-off posts and ask responses for now, and i’ll post story related stuff as it comes to me. so yeah, not much different from what im doing now.
there will be a real post tomorrow, if not tonight, i promise.
how many of you are actually following the main story arc right now? the reason i ask is that i’m having a hard time continuing it right now, im having trouble with the sequence of events, and i’m also catching myself putting off working on anything blog-related more and more, and i’d hate to just “meh out” this early. so i’d like to just put it (the story bits, not the entire blog) to the side for now until i can fully focus on it. i’d hate to put out something half-assed and jumbled up.
so, should i do more questions now and focus on the story later? or try to keep the two going at once?
